WELCOME TO THE CLUMBER SPANIEL RESCUE CHARITABLE TRUST
This website directly benefits the CSCA's Rescue & Placement Committee's efforts. This Trust is a 501 (c)(3) public charitable organization solely devoted to the safety, welfare, rehabilitation, and rehoming of Clumber spaniels in need, regard- less of source or circumstance. We are available to assist Clumbers being given up by individual owners and frequently help homes who have originally acquired Clumber puppies from puppy millers and pet stores. While both the Rescue Charitable Trust and CSCA Rescue & Placement has a policy not to acquire Clumbers directly from auctions or puppy millers, we certainly are willing to help those homes that have purchased from these sources as an impulse purchase, or find their health issues are too expensive to continue keeping the dog. Your direct donation or purchase of Clumber merchandise from this website ensures that any Clumber coming into the Rescue & Placement program will get the veterinary and foster care they need prior to being permanently placed. Foster care incurs ongoing costs of its own depending upon the Clumber and what their specific needs are. All of your donations or purchase of Clumber merchandise goes directly to assist the Clumbers! The CSRCT pays its own minimal administrative costs on its own so all donations or purchases go directly to helping the Clumbers. While merchandise purchases are not tax-deductible, all outright donations of any kind (gifts and Memorial donations for your Clumber or to honor another) are fully tax-decuctible. Each donor and recipient will receive an acknowledgement letter that is fully recognized by the IRS for your tax records.Our needs and challenges have never been greater with so many Clumbers being casually offered over the internet, then subsequently being given up, or the puppy millers are relinquishing them due to their non-productivity for them. Each of these Clumbers deserves the chance to become properly socialized. We will provide funding to help rehabilitate them and to offer them the proper life each Clumber deserves. This last year R & P has shown the majority of Clumbers being given up have come from these sources and this will only continue.
